Was that there last time?
Every skin exam turns on that question. Constellation answers it with a photograph.
The same patient, two visits. Drag the line.
Built by a dermatologist and an engineer, inside real clinic visits.
- ≈5 minfull-body capture, during rooming
- 0new hardware. Devices you already own
- 2clinical actions: biopsy or monitor
- 100%of record access audited, append-only
Why we exist
Change is the signal.
A spot that wasn’t there. A mole that grew. Ask how any melanoma was caught early, and you’ll hear the same story — something changed.
But the baseline lives in memory. A chart note that reads “stable mole, 4 mm.” A doctor who has seen four thousand moles since.
Academic centers solved this with imaging suites that cost more than a house. We’re building it into the visit you already run.
How
The record builds itself.
Capture
Your MA photographs the patient during rooming. Guided, standardized, about five minutes.
Compare
Every photo is matched against the record before the doctor’s hand is on the door.
Decide
The exam she always does — with last visit one glance away. One tap: biopsy or monitor.
Product visualization — illustrative data, not a clinical case.
Doctor-first
Quiet by design.
Most clinical software fights for the doctor’s attention. Constellation waits to be asked.
It never diagnoses.
It measures, aligns, remembers. The judgment stays where it belongs.
The dial starts at zero.
How much it surfaces is the doctor’s setting — per patient, per visit.
Two actions. No third button.
Biopsy or monitor. Nothing else to learn.
It stops where your EMR begins.
The visual record is ours. The note, the codes, the plan — yours.
One record
Every room, the same record.
MA capture
The guided photo walk, on the iPad your MA already rooms with.
Exam room
Today beside last visit, readable from across the room.
Dermoscopy in hand
The doctor’s iPhone, landing close-ups on the same spot’s history.
Practice dashboard
Volume, configuration, staff — without touching the clinical flow.
Patient portal
Their history, their consent. Per photo. Revocable.
Trust
Built like it’s someone’s skin. Because it is.
Audited access, per-photo consent, role-scoped records — and a rule with no exceptions: AI never writes the chart.
The record can’t be built later.
Every visit you don’t capture is a baseline gone. We’re onboarding a handful of founding practices.
